Vinum Alpes is an importer of wines from the Alps with a special focus on Swiss wines. The company was founded and is being run by Simon Gustafsson, who has been working in Switzerland as a sommelier at acclaimed The Chedi Andermatt for over 5 years. Having acquired expert knowledge of Swiss wines at the source, Simon founded Vinum Alpes in 2020 and began importing wines to Sweden in 2021. Vinum Alpes’ goal is to offer wines from all of Switzerland’s important wine producing areas and its top producers. Switzerland as a wine country offers a spectacular range of cool-climate, artisanal and family produced wines from a mix of autochthonous and international grape varieties. Sustainability is an important feature for Vinum Alpes and therefore most producers represented are organic or biodynamically certified.
