SSCC BUSINESS FORUM 2022 – THE ENERGY TRANSITION TO NEW SUSTAINABLE SOURCES
The Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce Switzerland is organising a yearly Business Forum on different topics with the aim of comparing Sweden and Switzerland, to exchange ideas, experiences and to learn from each other. As a member of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, you are kindly invited to attend for the member fee.
The 9th Business Forum on 31 May 2022 will focus on the Energy Transition as it is entering a period of unprecedented change. Since 2021, we have seen a surge in energy prices due to factors such as the pandemic, supply and demand issues on the global wholesale market resulting in inflation. The current conflict in Ukraine further disrupts the global energy markets, and just recently, a new UN report on climate change came out that harmful carbon emissions from 2010-2019 have never been higher.
We are facing the immense challenge to reduce carbon emissions, transition to renewable and sustainable sources and be less dependent on other countries for energy supply. At the SSCC Business Forum, we will discuss the challenges and opportunities we are facing on a European level. We have invited prominent speakers from Swedish and Swiss companies and regulators to discuss the transition to new sources of sustainable energy, and how we can maintain a resilient supply and distribution of energy in a volatile and risky environment.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to listen to experts in the energy field.
